My story
Like many people, my path to becoming a UX designer wasn’t exactly a linear one. From a young age, I found joy in sketching and creating various visual works. I dreamed of a career in a design-related field, but the path wasn't always clear. After graduating high school, I pursued a degree in history, still holding on to my creative ambitions.
Before discovering my deep-seeded love of design, I spent time working in real estate, property management and fitness industries. There I learned the art of empathy and collaboration while working with people from diverse backgrounds.
It wasn’t until mid 2022 that I finally decided to make a change. When I came across DesignLab’s UX/UI Academy, everything fell into place. Immersed in the world of design principles, user research, and problem-solving, I found myself captivated by the process. It was a perfect fit. Countless hours of coursework, hundreds of cups of coffee, and I'm proud to call myself a designer.
Armed with creativity, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of user needs, I enjoy challenges and finding different solutions to complex problems.
P.S. When I'm not designing, you can usually find me playing soccer or on a plane, heading to some far away destination with my camera in hand.
